Learning Methodology

The Teaching And Learning Process Is Executed Through The Following Guidelines:

  • Resources: With what should the teaching-learning process be done?

For international applicants

The applicant´s degree diploma and academic transcript(s) must be authenticated by the Guatemalan consul from the country where the studies where completed.

The consul´s signature must then be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

When necessary, documents must be translated to Spanish by a sworn translator.

The University will study all documents to establish course equivalencies. Subsequently, classes and academic term where the applicant may join the desired program of study will be indicated.

The student must fulfill all registration requirements, including presentation of the following documents:

  • Record of placement test passing (Central Campus).
  • Photocopy of personal identification document (DPI for its acronym in Spanish) or passport.
  • 5x7 inch photostatic copy of degree or high school diploma, with due legal procedures.
  • Certified secondary education transcripts, with due legal procedures.
  • Two recent identity-card-size photographs.

International applicants must present all pertinent documents that identify their approved migratory status on this country, according to the following requirements to be presented:

  • Visa application form
  • Passport
  • Recent photograph
  • Certification of passport validity and term issued by the Guatemala accredited consul of the applicant´s country or the closest country available
  • Letter of absence of criminal records issued by the authorities of the country where the applicant has lived for the past five years. Should this document or a similar one not be issued on that country, a lack of criminal record certificate must be included.

When transferring from another University

  • Tuition certificate
  • Official academic transcripts (both from the University of origin)

The Bachelor's degree in Business Administration aims to train professionals in research and administrative decision-making in various organizations, with the aim of achieving high levels of development, competitiveness, and sustainable improvement in quality of life. Resilience and disruption are the main axes of the framework for planning and evaluating the functional or entrepreneurial purposes of the Business Administrator.


Target Audience

All students or professionals at the diversified level, interested in serving as directors or managers in administrative positions, in the desire to belong to elite groups of organizational management, who can aspire to occupy a functional position in private or public initiative, as well as being part of the range of entrepreneurs or other professional staff in businesses.


The foundational framework of the previous academic competencies of applicants is derived from their professional levels at the diversified level: high school, technical school graduates, teachers, secretaries, and other peers. With the aforementioned background, the incoming student must contribute levels of hard skills and soft skills to meet the following requirements of the entry profile: Entry and Exit Profile of the Business Administration student, as declared in each Academic Program of the Curriculum (40):

The Faculty of Administration Sciences offers a semi-flexible course allocation curriculum in its prerequisites and assigns an additional course per semester, according to the order of prerequisites and the student's own capacity.
