In this career, you will learn to identify the different animal species that make up the animal kingdom and how they interact with humans and with one another. You will develop anatomical, macro and microscopic knowledge about the different anatomical, macro and microscopic structures that conform them and how they function physiologically according to the biochemical metabolism in a state of health and disease. You will also recognize the different microbiological agents that can intervene in their health as beneficial or pathological agents, and you will acquire competences on the pharmacological or surgical therapeutics to be applied according to the correct diagnosis and the chemical basis of the treatment. Furthermore, you will learn to work with animals in a respectful framework for life, guaranteeing animal welfare, as well as human health and safety.
