The Civil Engineering career consists of carrying out projects, directing construction works, calculating and designing anti-seismic structures, in accordance with international standards and regulations; in order to obtain safe infrastructure works. A civil engineer has the ability to develop executive projects according to the public or private call based on market needs to determine the project resources.
- What will you learn during the program?

In the Civil Engineering program, students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in topography, mathematics, physics, geometry, pavements, hydraulics and hydrology, design of structural elements, structural analysis, economic engineering and soil mechanics. Students will master calculus techniques, algebra, geometry, plan design and drainage systems, as well as structural integrity assessment and project planning from an economic and financial perspective. They will also study other topics related to civil engineering, such as project management, construction safety and sustainability in engineering.

The graduates obtain the knowledge and skills that they should have at the end of the degree program. The Civil Engineering graduate performs structural and geotechnical analysis and design of hydro-sanitary installations, as well as the construction and maintenance of physical infrastructure with emphasis on the use and conservation of natural resources.
