The laboratory is equipped with more than 200 pieces of instrumentation that allow practice and demonstrations in a variety of basic and general physics topics. Some of these topics include:

  1. Measurement and systems of units: concepts related to measurement, errors in static and dynamic measurements and systems of units are explored.
  2. Waves and energy: wave phenomena and energy-related concepts are studied.
  3. Fluids: Fluid behavior, such as liquids and gasses, is analyzed.
  4. Thermology and Thermodynamics: temperature, heat and thermodynamic processes are addressed.
  5. Electricity and magnetism: fundamental principles of electricity and magnetism are explored.
  6. Geometrical optics and physics: optical phenomena related to light and vision are studied.
  7. Modern physics: advanced concepts in physics are explored in depth.

The main objective is to broaden the engineering field of research.
