The laboratory is equipped with more than 200 pieces of equipment that allow practice and demonstrations in a variety of basic and general physics topics. Some of these topics include:
- Measurement and systems of units: concepts related to measurement, errors in static and dynamic measurements and systems of units are explored.
- Waves and energy: wave phenomena and energy-related concepts are studied.
- Fluids: fluid behavior, such as liquids and gases, is analyzed.
- Thermology and Thermodynamics: temperature, heat and thermodynamic processes are addressed.
- Electricity and magnetism: fundamental principles of electricity and magnetism are explored.
- Geometrical optics and physics: optical phenomena related to light and vision are studied.
- Modern physics: advanced concepts in physics are explored in depth.
The main objective is to expand the field of research in the area of engineering.
